Our design and manufacturing process

A collaborative approach in which you can participate at every stage, from design to manufacturing, to obtain an occlusal plate perfectly adapted to your patient.

1. Receiving and digitizing dental impressions

As soon as we receive your patient's impression, it is digitized using our high-density scanner. The dental arches and articulation are then accurately imported into our Computer-Aided Design software...

We accept both physical and digital impressions (all file types generated by an intraoral digitizer).

2. 3D modeling

The patient's oral anatomy is then accurately modeled.
Our state-of-the-art CAD software, equipped with a high-precision articulator, enables you to :

  • Define the boundaries and axis of insertion,
  • Precise occlusal adjustment, providing ideal contact between the arches,
  • Optimization of lateral movements and propulsion.

3. Approval

Before the bite plate is printed, we share the 3D model with you. You can make comments or approve the result.

4. Printing the occlusal plate

Once the 3D model has been approved, the occlusal plate is printed, according to your needs, using rigid or thermoflexible resin and biomaterials, in compliance with medical device regulations and standards.
The resulting occlusal plate ensures maximum patient comfort thanks to its exceptional stain resistance, neutral taste, precise fit, high mechanical resistance to bending and breaking, long service life and color stability.

5. Articulation and polishing

The occlusal plate is positioned on our precision articulator to precisely adjust lateral and propulsive movements. It is then hand-polished to a high gloss finish with a remarkable glazed appearance. At this stage, no pumice stones are used, thanks to the rigorous control of parameters and processes established upstream.

6. Adjustments and validation

Finally, we try out the occlusal plate on a printed model of the patient's mouth to validate the contact between the arches.
If necessary, we make adjustments to ensure that the occlusal plate exactly matches your prescription and your patient's needs.
